Getting started

If your child needs help on their recovery journey, getting them started is an easy three-step process:

1- The initial phone call

First, we’ll have you tell us all about your teen. Then, we’ll go over treatment options and discuss ways to pay for the program.

2- Pre screening

After determining the best approach to your teen’s treatment and verifying insurance coverage, we’ll give you a step-by-step breakdown of what to expect next.

3- Begin Treatment

When you arrive at Avery’s House, you’ll meet our staff and other participants and tour the facility. Then we’ll guide your teen in joining our activities.

Complete programs for lasting behavioral change

At Avery’s House, we help teens learn vital coping strategies and empower them to take responsibility for their mental well-being. Our programs include the following:

Family Involvement

  • Because family participation is vital to a teen’s recovery, we empower families with the emotional, practical, and educational tools to effectively support their teen’s recovery. Our approach includes family therapy sessions, training in emotional support strategies, and comprehensive aftercare planning.

Medication Management

  • Knowing that therapy alone isn’t enough for some teens, we provide comprehensive medication management for those who need it. Our clinical team ensures that each prescription is thoughtfully considered, meticulously administered, and closely monitored to optimize effectiveness and minimize risks.

Academic Support

  • Education shouldn’t take a back seat to treatment, so we offer robust academic support to prevent teens from falling behind with their schooling while in our care. Our approach also equips them with tools for effectively managing academic workloads when they return to the classroom.
