Cathleen Peterson

Cathleen is a primary therapist with Avery’s House. Holding a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Grand Canyon University, she employs a solution-focused and strength-based approach to help individuals and their families communicate better and forge new paths toward their goals.

Cathleen completed her undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice and has worked with youth involved in juvenile probation to help them act more consistently with their future aspirations. Cathleen lives in Mesa, Arizona with her husband, children, and two black cats, and she enjoys crocheting blankets for her nieces.
